The End Homelessness in 100 Days Project

To end homelessness it is necessary to take people off the street and provide a structure where they can pursue a positive purpose that can add value to our society.  The programs now in place give handouts of food, services and now suggesting housing first.  This is not only demeaning to folks who have stepped off the ladder to success but it is also not sustainable.

When past wars were fought forts and military bases were build almost overnight.  There are numerous decommissioned assets in the SF / Marin area that can be established as base camps.  Places where lives can be accessed and restarted.

There is authority to do this. Homeland Security has requested space at a military base to house immigrants.  (SFChronicle.com June 28, 2018 / Colleen Long article)

Base camps are the first step on that ladder to success.  The initial guidelines are minimal and will develop overtime to fit individual requirements.  The one rule is that everyone will work on a common project.  The Soil Project is the base line universal project to introduce basic skills and form teams that work well together in value added entrepreneurial efforts.

Soil is the common denominator that everyone uses as a tool to learn communication skills and grow fruits with taste and nutrition.  The competition is which team can produce the tastiest tomato. Base camp members will be given the opportunity to discuss and implement the procedures that best fit there needs to be better citizens. Introduction To Operation Restart

Operation Restart (OR) is home base for ideas to start over and fix things that just do not serve the needs of society.  The fundamental concept is for people who are pursuing unfulfilled paths, are displaced workers or even homeless and need to have another chance (a second or third or as many as it takes) to find fulfillment. OR is about creating local opportunities where everyone who wants to contribute has the support structures (Operation Restart) to grow, develop needed knowledge and skills to be able to add value to the community. 

But FIRST we must make sure government has a revenue funding policy that provides a stable sufficient stream of funds for it to do the Right Things RIGHT.

A straight forward process is needed to fund government so that it can do the Right Things right.

Here is a summary of a focused government funding policy: 

FREE - Fed Revenue Economic Enhancement Policy

No Tax for Individuals under $100,000 income - they are Consumers and will spend to build a strong economy and a better life for themselves and their families.

Individuals over $100,000 income pay a tiered excess income contribution starting at ten percent.

Fed Revenue from Individuals => estimated $1.4T

Cut Corporate tax rate to zero - Corporations with revenue over one million dollars pay a fee to access the Consumer market (Market Access Fee) at ten percent of revenue.

Fed Revenue from Corporations => estimated $2.4T

A total of $3.8T of federal funds meets the current budget with a $200B surplus.

FREE replaces the thousands of pages of tax code (which serves to support tax avoidance) with a focused funding policy.

We need lawmakers that support a simple straight forward government funding process: Balanced Economy Enhancement Policy.
